Canada's First Non-Wood Pulp Facility
Creating Sustainable and Environmentally Conscious Consumer Products

Waste Reduction
Process
Red Leaf's process is an environmentally conscious pulping method that will revolutionize the paper industry. Pulp generated from non-wood fibres has the physical characteristics that are comparable to hardwood and superior to recycled fibre.

Products

Consumer products from non-wood pulp:
-
Packaging
-
Molded products (cups, plates, trays, to-go-boxes)
-
Tissue and towel
Red Leaf's co-product is the secondary product of the conversion process which is a lignin, hemicellulose and mineral rich liquid stream with applications into low-carbon fuel pathways.
Facility
The first operating plant will be constructed in Regina, Saskatchewan. The raw material used to produce the pulp will be wheat straw. Production is expected to start in 2024.
