It is with deep sadness and a heavy heart that we share the news of the tragic hiking accident that has taken our esteemed colleague and friend, Rob Tarčon. Rob’s passing is an immeasurable loss for our company, and we extend our heartfelt condolences to Rob’s family, friends and all those who had the privilege of knowing and working with him.
Rob was an integral part of our Red Leaf team. He would take on any task no matter how large, dirty, physically challenging, or menial. He was never above rolling up his sleeves, and getting it done. The knowledge and technical excellence he brought from his vast experience in the pellet sector was unmatched. This was recognized in his previous role as the President of the Wood Pellet Association of Canada.
Rob had a genuine interest in the well-being of others and fostered a sense of camaraderie within our team. He was a man of action, taking care of people’s needs even before they realized they were going to need it. He will be sorely missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with Rob’s family and friends.
